June 20 2010 – Fathers Day Celebration at St.Vartan Armenian Apostolic Church of British Columbia
On Sunday, June 20 2010 on Fathers Day occasion, after the Divine Liturgy Archpriest Rev. Father Keghart Garabedian presented the third part of the Divine Liturgy. After the message a requiem service was held in memory of deceased fathers souls.
The Sunday School students had the Year End presentation with poems and music.
For this occasion an interesting DVD clip, prepared by Sergey Maranjian, was presented by ACYOC member Aramazd Gharapetian showing a demonstration the shapes of the Armenain Alphabet by three Armenian gymnastics.
At Setrak Kalpakian Hall for Fathers Day occasion the ACYOC members had prepared a delicious sandwiches and lottery.
After the luncheon fathers were invited to cut the cake and have a group picture.
On behalf of the Church executive members we offer our thanks to the ACYOC members and to the Sunday School teachers Sona Korajian and Laura Papasian and also the parents of the kids.
