On Sunday, August 12, 2012 St. Vartan Armenian Apostolic Church celebrated the Feast of the Assumption and Blessing of the Grapes.
The Divine Liturgy was celebrated by Archpriest, Rev. Keghart Garabedian, accompanied by deacon Jamil Kevranian, sud-deacon Shiraz Kassardjian and acolyte Levon Sarkees. Choir master Arman Hosepyan led the choir for the chants of the Divine Liturgy and the ritual of the Blessing of the Grapes. The message was delivered by the Pastor (John 15.1-8). After the Church service the congregation gathered in Setrak Kalpakian Hall where the Ladies Guild served luncheon.
