On Sunday, November 03 2013, upon a directive from the Canadian Diocese, St. Vartan Armenian Apostolic Church of BC celebrated the 14th Anniversary of the Consecration of H.H. Karekin II the Catholicos and the Supreme Patriarch of All Armenian.
For this occasion Pastor, Arch priest Rev. Keghart Garabedian, deacons Jamil Kevranian, Aris Ghasabian, Sub-deacon Shiraz Kassardjian and acolyte Shant Sarkees and the choir members headed by the choirmaster Mr. Arman Hosepyan, organist Hasmik Hovhannesian, after the sermon (Luke 8.17-21), offered “Patriarchal Thanksgiving Prayer”.
After the Divine Liturgy and the ceremony, at Setrak Kalpakian Hall, the Church ladies served coffee and pastry to the congregation.
