2026 New Year and Christmas Calendar at St. Vartan and Ararat Armenian Community Center.
- Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026, 1:30 PM: First Day of the year. Glorifying Church Service and Blessing of the Pomegranate.
- Sunday, Jan. 4, 2026, 12։00 PM: Divine Liturgy.
- Monday, Jan. 5, 2026, 5:30 PM: Christmas Eve “Epiphany” Divine Liturgy (Jrakalouyts).
- Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2026, 12:00 PM: Theophany Divine Liturgy and Blessing of Water.
- Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2026, 12:00 PM: Memorial Day Requiem Service.
- Sunday, Jan. 11, 2026, 11:00 AM: After the Divine Liturgy, Christmas luncheon at Setrak Kalpakian Hall hosted by the Ladies Guild of the Church.
- Also, Kaghant-Pap will visit the community children. All parents within our community may bring symbolic gifts to be given to their children by Kaghant-Pap.
- On this day, traditional Youghakeen donation will be received. We kindly remind our faithful to make their customary Christmas Youghakeen (offering) donation.

- Նաև, Կաղանդ պապը պիտի այցելէ համայնքի երեխաներուն։ Համայնքի բոլոր ծնողները կրնան բերել խորհրդանշական նուէրներ, որոնք Կաղանդ պապը պիտի շնորհէ իրենց երեխաներուն։
- Այս օրը կը կը հանգանակուի աւանդական “Իւղաքին” նուէրը։ Համեստաբար կը յիշեցնենք և խնդրենք մեր հաւատացեալներէն որ կատարեն աւանդական Սուրբ Ծննդեան Լուսաւորչի Կանդեղի Իւղագինի նուիրատուութիունը։
Sunday School Celebration Recap and Thank You!
We had a wonderful gathering celebrating the dedication and teamwork that make our Sunday School such a special place for our children and families. The event was filled with joy, laughter, and heartfelt appreciation for everyone who contributes to the life of our community.
A heartfelt thank you to Aida Asatryan, our Sunday School Principal, for her tireless work and leadership in organizing this Sunday School presentation within such a short time. Your dedication and energy truly made it possible.
Special thanks to our wonderful teachers, Arega Grigoryan and Zaruhi Mkrtchyan, for your creativity, care, and commitment to nurturing our students’ faith and learning.
We are also deeply grateful to yeretzkinNarine Soukiasian and all the Sunday School parents who prepared the delicious food that made the celebration even more enjoyable. Your hospitality and warmth truly brought everyone together.
Finally, a big thank you to all the helpers and volunteers who supported the event in countless ways, from organizing to serving and cleaning up. Your efforts ensured everything ran smoothly and beautifully.
Together, you made this celebration a true reflection of love, cooperation and community spirit.
Oct 24th Friday Social – Pumpkin Painting & Movie Night
Get into the Halloween spirit with AACC at our next Friday social: movie night with pumpkin painting! 
If you want something fun to do with your friends and family before Halloween begins, look no further: on October 24th at 7pm, Ararat Armenian Community Center will be screening Anahit 2014 (with English subtitles) and providing supplies to paint pumpkins! The pumpkins themselves are provided as well. Pizza dinner will be served.

WHERE: Setrak Kalpakian Hall, 1260 W 67th Avenue, Vancouver
WHAT: Movie night, pumpkin painting, pizza dinner
TICKETS: $15 for students, $20 for everyone else
