On Thursday, January 05 2012 St. Vartan Armenian Apostolic Church of BC celebrated the Theophany, Christmas Eve Divine Liturgy at 6:00 pm. The Celebrate, Father Keghart Garabedian accompanied by the deacons and acolytes, choir members lead by Arman Hosepyan, the Choir Master. Father Keghart read the Supreme Patriarch H.H. Karekin II Catholicos of All Armenians Christmas congratulation message to His Grace Bishop Bagrat Galstanian, Primate of the Canadian Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church.
Friday, January 06 2012, the Christmas Divine Liturgy and the Epiphany, Blessing of Water was celebrated. Maestro Armen Martirossyan was the godfather of the Epiphany.
Saturday, January 07 2012 a Memorial Requiem Service was held at 11:30 am.
Sunday, January 08 2012, after the Divine Liturgy, Father Keghart Garabedian read H.H. Karekin II Catholicos of All Armenians homily in English and offered his sermon in Armenian languages.
After the Church Service, luncheon was served by the Ladies Guild at Setrak Kalpakian Hall.
During the luncheon the Sunday School students sang very beautiful Christmas songs, which was organized by Mrs. Emma Sarkissyan/Martirosyan.
In this celebratory and joyful atmosphere, as a tradition, Santa Clause arrived and distributing gifts, while Father Keghart distributed chocolate bars and candies to the kids.
