Gingerbread event
On December 21st, 2014 at St Vartan Armenian Church Setrak Kalpakian Hall, Ararat Armenian Community Centre hosted the 3rd Annual Gingerbread event “Gingerbread Cookies: Decorate & Devour” organized by the Youth Director, Maryam Garabedian. In teams, the children decorated gingerbread houses and men in a colorful explosion of candy and frosting. Some children chose to take the houses home with them, others chose to destroy and devour them. In a proactive step, hot dogs were served by a member of the Ladies Guild, Narine Soukiasian, to the children following their feast in order to offset the inevitable sugar rush.
Participating Children: Rob, Eric, Ernest, Eric, Nayiri, Shushan, Karine, Haig, Alicia, Heghine, and Lana.
