On Sunday, February 15 2015, St. Vartan Armenian Apostolic Church of BC held the Annual General Assembly after the Great Lent Divine Liturgy celebrated by the pastor Archpriest, Rev. Keghart Garabedian. After the Divine Liturgy a requiem service was offered in memory of the deceased founders, benefactors, executive, choir, ladies guild members of the Church.
For this occasion His Grace Bishop Abgar Hovakimian, Primate of the Canadian Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church who was having his Pastoral visit to the Armenian Community in British Columbia was presiding the Church Services.
Archpriest, Rev. Keghart Garabedian, before he invited the Primate to deliver his message, on behalf of the Church executive members he presented an Episcopal Staff as a gift for his Grace ordination.
At Setrak Kalpakian Hall the Church ladies offered a light lunch and for the Church naming 47 anniversary his Grace and the pastor cut the cake.
At 2:30 pm the AGA took place at the Church sanctuary, which was presided by his Grace.
