For the Feast of Exaltation of the Holy Cross, His Grace Bishop Bagrat galstanian’s upon his Pastoral visit to Canadian Diocese Western parishes he visited British Columbia’s Armenian Community for whole week.
During his stay His Grace met St. Vartan Armenian Apostolic Church Parish Council and the representative of the ACYOC members. He also met with some parish members regarding Diocese projects.
His Grace celebrated the Divine Liturgy assisted by the Pastor Father Keghart Garabedian, the choir members headed by Mr. Arman Hosepyan the choir master, deacons and acolytes.
His Grace delivered His message and consecrated an Altar Cross donated by Artur Khachikian and for this occasion a precession took place where His Grace blessed the Cardinal Points of the world a traditional service in the Armenian Church called ANTASDAN.
After the Church service, at Setrak Kalpakan hall, the Ladies Guild served the traditional HARISA lunch prepared specially for this occasion.
His Grace left Vancouver on Monday, Sep 12 2011.
